Bio Yunhee Kim was given a camera when she was 9 years old. It was love at first sight. Yunhee was immediately drawn to capturing the beauty in the everyday objects around her. Yunhee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She moved to New York in 1997 to pursue her love of photography. After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology, she moved to NYC and began her work as a still life photographer. Her work has taught her patience, both with what organically exists and what cannot be replicated. Yunhee loves to create a narrative in her still-life work by experimenting with composition, textures, and light.
